Our Portfolio Managers (PMs) head each of our investing teams and some also lead development teams. All started out as investment team members earlier in their times at Penn, and have the knowledge and experience to mentor younger students.
Hannah is a Junior from Cleveland, OH studying Finance and Statistics with a minor in German. After interning at Citi as a part of the Sophomore Leadership Program this past summer, she will be returning to Citi’s IB Consumer group. Beyond joining WITG her freshman year, Hannah is further involved in Smart Women Securities, Joseph Wharton Scholars, and the Financial Literacy Club Project.
Devan is a senior in the M&T Program studying finance and systems engineering and minoring in mathematics. Devan interned at Moelis & Company in Los Angeles last summer and will be returning full-time after graduation. He previously interned at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM) and MFS Investment Management. Outside of class, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and following Boston sports.
Sadhvi is a senior from Dayton, Ohio, studying Finance and Accounting. She will be joining Goldman Sachs after graduation and held previous internships at Apollo Global Management and Marvelstone Group. Aside from WITG, she is President of the Private Equity/Venture Capital Club, serves as Club Tennis Treasurer, and works part-time for the fintech startup, Miss Kaya. In her free time, Sadhvi enjoys exploring the outdoors and giving back to the community.
Andy is a Junior concentrating in Statistics and Finance. Andy joined WITG his sophomore year and had a great experience learning about investing through the club that he spent his summer at Marshall Wace, an (amazing) long/short equity hedge fund. On campus Andy is also involved with the Cohorts System and likes to play poker and fantasy football in his spare time. This year Andy is looking to give back to the WITG community as an Energy co-PM and pass on his experiences working in the industry.
Hersh is a senior in Wharton studying finance with minors in Computer Science and Data Science. He worked at Point72 Asset Management his junior summer and Foxhill Capital his sophomore summer. Outside of WITG, he is part of Wharton Ambassadors and Penn Cricket.
Akash is a Junior in Wharton concentrating in Finance and Behavioral Economics. He’s fascinated by the interplay of human behavior and financial markets, and he’s looking forward to getting a chance to apply that study to investing. He worked at Marshall Wace this past summer. Akash enjoys hiking, climbing, reading, and playing poker in his spare time
Grant is a junior from Orlando in Wharton studying finance and risk management and minoring in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics. During his freshman and sophomores summers, he interned at a property and casualty FinTech startup and Lockheed Martin in both engineering and finance teams, respectively. Last summer, he interned in private equity at Audax Group. Outside of WITG, he is involved in Penn Electric Racing and West Philadelphia Tutoring Project. He enjoys skiing, running, playing tennis, and watching Formula One.
Caleb is a Senior from Abilene, Texas studying Finance and Legal Studies in Wharton. He has been involved in WITG since his freshman year as a part of the Principal Strategies and Financials teams, and he served as WITG’s VP of Finances during his sophomore year. This year, he will lead the Financials team with Grant. Caleb has spent his past two summers in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division and will be joining their M&A team full-time after graduation. In his free time, Caleb enjoys traveling, singing, watching movies, and exploring Philly with the Indego bike network.
Ryan is a junior from South Florida concentrating in finance and accounting, and minoring in mathematics. He spent his previous summer at Pharus Advisors, where he worked in sell-side M&A. Next summer, he will be joining Lazard’s Capital Structure Advisory Group in New York. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing piano (classical and jazz), backpacking, traveling, and reading.
Sam is a junior from New Jersey studying math and finance. He has been a part of WITG's Global Macro team since his freshman year. He has spent two summers interning with MSD Partners. In his spare time, he likes to watch basketball or football and play golf.
Adithya is a junior in Wharton from Princeton, NJ intending on concentrating in Finance and Statistics with a minor in French. He will be working in restructuring this summer and has previously worked in leveraged finance. He formerly served as the VP of Finance for WITG and is the current Portfolio Manager of the Global Macro investment team. In addition to WITG, he is a member of Intercol, Penn’s college Model United Nations team. Outside of school, Adithya enjoys soccer, cooking, and traveling.
Amrajan is a senior in Wharton from Vancouver (Canada) concentrating in Finance, Real Estate, and Accounting. He interned at H/2 Capital Partners this past summer, which is a great credit hedge fund that specializes in hard asset-backed corporations and traditional real estate assets, and will be joining PJT Partners in their Restructuring and Special Situations Group for full-time. Outside of WITG, Amrajan enjoys playing basketball and ice hockey, winning big in poker, and beating his friends in FIFA.
Vedant is a senior in the Vagelos Life Sciences & Management Program studying biology and finance. He joined WITG in the spring of his freshman year and has since been very interested in healthcare investing. Vedant worked at Evercore doing life sciences-focused work this past summer and will be joining Lazard’s Healthcare M&A team full-time. Outside of WITG, Vedant is the president of the Penn Undergraduate Biotechnology Society. In his free time, Vedant enjoys yoga, running, and reading.
Michael is a junior in the LSM program from the Philly suburbs studying Finance and Biology. He joined WITG during his sophomore year and really enjoys learning about the ever-changing healthcare industry. This summer Michael will be working at Moelis & Company in Los Angeles. In his free time, Michael loves to play tennis, eat Korean BBQ, and listen to R&B/Hip-hop music.
Jeff is a senior from Toronto studying finance, accounting, and statistics. He has been involved in WITG since fall semester of his freshman year as a member of the Industrials Team. Outside of WITG, he enjoys traveling, playing poker, and watching soccer.
Rohan is an M&T Senior from Clinton, Iowa studying Finance and Systems Engineering. Rohan spent last summer in Los Angeles interning at Ares Management in its Private Equity Special Opportunities Fund and will be joining Evercore’s Restructuring Group in New York after graduating. In his free time, Rohan enjoys playing basketball, tennis, board games, listening to rap music, and watching baseball.
Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS)
David is a junior from Westchester, NY concentrating in real estate and finance. He also serves as the head of the Treks Committee of the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club and the head of Investment Fund of the TAMID Group at Penn. This summer, David will be interning at Och-Ziff in their real estate private equity group.
Special Situations Group (SSG)
Nad is a senior at Wharton studying Finance, Legal Studies, and Business Analytics. Outside of WITG, Nad is involved in Global Platinum Securities and the Pennsylvania Investment Alliance. He has previously worked for PJT on their restructuring team, and for T. Rowe Price.
Frank is a senior at Wharton studying Finance. Outside of WITG, Frank is involved in Global Platinum Securities. Frank previously worked for Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm, and Evercore Partners on their restructuring team where he will be returning full-time after graduation.
Jameson is a senior studying finance in Wharton. He has performed weapons systems research for the U.S. Department of Defense, covered high-yield TMT credits in Vanguard’s Fixed Income Group, and worked as a private equity analyst in Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities Group. He will be joining Cyrus Capital Partners full-time after graduation, a $7bn distressed debt hedge fund in New York. In his free time, he enjoys abstract art, playing poker and long-distance running.
Tai is a junior in Wharton from Canada studying finance, statistics and mathematics, and has been a part of WITG TacOpps since freshman fall. Tai spent his freshman summer researching semiconductor equities at RBC Dominion Securities and analyzed distressed debt investments last summer at PSAM, an event-driven hedge fund. This upcoming summer he will be an investment analyst intern with Anchorage Capital Group, a $24bn distressed debt hedge fund based in New York. Besides investing, Tai is a fan of taking bad beats in poker, EDM, and hitting the pool.
Shaun is a junior studying finance in Wharton. He has served as an ammunitions specialist in Singapore’s armed forces, spent last summer at Scopia Capital, a market-neutral, deep-value hedge fund, and will be headed to Moelis & Company’s LA office this summer. Outside school, he enjoys playing and following European soccer (especially Arsenal), finding good restaurants around Philly, and playing poker (usually losing money to Jameson).
Shawn is a junior in Wharton concentrating in finance and management. He spent his previous summers at a distressed debt hedge fund, Beach Point Capital, and an early-stage venture capital firm, Scopus Ventures. He will be joining Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities Group as a summer analyst. In his free time he enjoys surfing, playing poker, and intramural soccer.
Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT)
Ameya is a senior in the M&T program studying Computer Science, Finance, and Entrepreneurship. He joined WITG freshman year and is currently PM of the Technology, Media, and Telecom team. He spent last summer at Morgan Stanley’s Technology banking group in Menlo Park and will be returning there full time. Outside of WITG, he is an editor of the International Business Review magazine. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, long-distance biking, and traveling around world.
Xuan is a senior in Wharton and Engineering concentrating in Finance and majoring in Computer Science. He joined WITG freshman year and is currently a PM of the Technology, Media, and Telecom team. He worked in Morgan Stanley's Tech group in his junior summer and will be going to Evercore M&A after graduation. Outside of school, Xuan loves wine tasting and swimming.
