The Energy team provides members with a strong foundation in energy and finance. Our goal is to empower members to become competent investors, with a focus on oil and gas, as well as other energy assets. We study energy technology, politics, geography, transactions and markets overall in order to deliver a broad educational background in investing. All members have the opportunity to pitch an energy investment and will receive mentoring.
Andy is a Junior concentrating in Statistics and Finance. Andy joined WITG his sophomore year and had a great experience learning about investing through the club that he spent his summer at Marshall Wace, an (amazing) long/short equity hedge fund. On campus Andy is also involved with the Cohorts System and likes to play poker and fantasy football in his spare time. This year Andy is looking to give back to the WITG community as an Energy co-PM and pass on his experiences working in the industry.
